Lot 1 is another headliner - Gabrielle 8129 embryos out of C Miles McKee.
What a way to begin the Iron Clad Genetics Sale offering, embryos sired by the $600,000 world record setting bull C Miles McKee 2103 ET and the dam of CSF 18U Olivia 2102 the 2013 North American Intl Livestock Exposition Grand Champion Female “8129”. We had the opportunity to purchase half interest in this proven donor from Burns Farms in Pikeville, TN and jumped right on it. Females of this caliber don’t come around often and we wanted to take full advantage.
8129 is a direct daughter of the now deceased BR DM Sooner whose semen is in very limited supply and the immortal Gabrielle 5082 who has certainly left her mark in the Hereford industry.
8129’s flush mate 8130 is the dam of the $240,000 valued Anastasia who commanded $120,000 for half- interest in the 2013 Barber’s Red and White Holiday Lights Sale. Anastasia has had many accomplishments to date and most recently was crowned Grand Champion Female in the bred and owned show at this year’s Junior Nationals held in Harrisburg, PA. Her full sib brother was the Grand Champion bull as well in Harrisburg, PA.
1066 is a full sister to 8129 who was purchased in the spring 2012 Barbers Red and White Cowtown Lights sale by Colyer Herefords in Bruneau, ID. 1066 went on to capture the Grand Champion Female banner at the 2013 Ft. Worth Stock Show and is now in the donor pen at Colyer Herefords.
The embryos stem from a traditional flush on 8129 and will be the only embryos sold in 2014 by Iron Lake Ranch that will be sired by Miles McKee.
Guarantee of 1 pregnancy if put in by a certified embryologist.
